The VIII conference "Information Protection Technologies and Information Security of Organizations" (IT-Security Conference - 2023) took place on March 28-29

The conference was organized by the Infopark Association, the Confederation of Digital Business Association and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.

The conference was attended by the first deputy director of the state enterprise NTEC Tatyana Turomsha and specialists from the information security department of NTEC.

The First Deputy Director made a presentation at one of the discussion sessions, talking about improving the skills of personnel in the field of information security. One of the main points that Tatyana Turomsha highlighted during her speech was the analysis of the number of students who completed training at the International Education Center NTEC from 2020 to early 2023. The conference provided an analysis of the number of trained students by region and the city of Minsk, and provided an analysis of the number of trained students by departmental affiliation.

Particular attention was paid to the diversity of programs of the International Education Center NTEC. Currently, more than 26 advanced training programs have been developed. It was emphasized that the programs are developed according to the needs of the sectoral economy of the Republic of Belarus.

The collaboration of teachers with expert representatives from various fields was also noted: industry regulator, the public sector, private business and leading universities in the country. Moreover, the report emphasized the readiness of the International Education Center NTEC to cooperate with experts in the field of information security.

At the end of her speech, Tatyana Turomsha announced the launch of the second stream of cyber training (together with RTK-Solar). The training is scheduled from May 15 to 19.

The First Deputy Director emphasized the importance of the head of an organization of any form of ownership understanding the importance of information security and the risks that the organization may incur in the absence of proper protection. To ensure information security, it is necessary to constantly improve the knowledge and practical skills of personnel, and the International Center for Education NTEC will be happy to help with this!
