Representatives of NTEC at the Republican IT Youth 2023 Forum

On June 27, the Republican Youth Forum IT Youth 2023 was held on the basis of the scientific and technical park of the BNTU "Polytechnic". The forum brought together administrators of Internet communities, aspiring IT specialists, young bloggers and web journalists. In total, about 150 people from all regions of the country considered the issues of information security, personal data protection, and cyberbullying.

Representatives of NTEC - the head of the International Education Center Yulia Sokolova and the head of the information security department Dmitry Lupikov were invited to the event as speakers.

In his speech, Dmitry Lupikov told the audience about the most common schemes of cyber fraudsters and provided practical recommendations that will help protect yourself and your finances in the Internet space. Yulia Sokolova talked with the forum participants on the need for continuous training, especially on such an important topic as information security, and also presented educational programs of the International Education Center “ROZUM”, which will be relevant to absolutely every employee, and focused on programs suitable for mastering in including the student audience.

At the same time, an interactive session from the International Education Center was organized as part of the forum. Participants were asked to complete a short survey on the topic of cybersecurity on the ROZUM digital training platform. The answers to the questions provided useful information that everyone needs to know in order to avoid becoming a victim of online criminals. For correct answers, memorable souvenirs were awarded. Participants who were unable to answer the questions were able to receive detailed explanations through the speakers' reports.
