NTEC and Positive Technologies signed a memorandum of cooperation

The National Traffic Exchange Center of the Republic of Belarus (NTEC) and Positive Technologies, a leader in the field of effective cybersecurity, signed a memorandum of cooperation in the development of cybersecurity in Belarus. As part of the cooperation, joint efforts will be aimed at increasing the number of highly qualified information security experts and increasing the awareness of Belarusian companies about protection against cyber threats. The memorandum was signed at the "Positive SOC" conference, which was held for the first time in Belarus.

The parties plan to cooperate in several areas. The first is the implementation of projects to introduce Positive Technologies products. The second direction concerns the provision of services according to the MSSP model to Belarusian organizations. The third relates to the development and implementation of training programs, conferences, courses, seminars and other educational events.

"Companies in the Republic of Belarus are actively using Positive Technologies products, which allow them to move to effective cybersecurity. We are confident that our cooperation will have a positive impact on the development of competencies in the corporate sector," emphasized Aleksey Tsymbalov, director of NTEC. "Our task is to constantly improve the skills of specialists who ensure security in Belarusian companies."

The first step of cooperation was the launch of joint training programs at the ROZUM International Education Center on the basis of NTEC to develop the competencies of information security service employees of Belarusian companies working with Positive Technologies products.

To obtain the status of an authorized Positive Technologies training center, the organization’s trainers underwent multi-stage training and education with the Positive Technologies team. In addition, together with the technical staff of the educational center and vendor specialists, certified trainers established the operation of laboratory stands in the educational infrastructure.

At the end of the year, the first groups of students working with Positive Technologies products will begin training in programs related to MaxPatrol SIEM: product deployment and administration, as well as security event management based on vendor solutions. Next year, other training programs are expected to launch, including a course on vulnerability management based on MaxPatrol VM.

"At the moment, Positive Technologies is actively developing a network of authorized training centers, in which experienced trainers train information security specialists to work with our products," noted Dmitry Sivokon, Deputy Commercial Director of Positive Technologies. — Our company will provide methodological and administrative support to the international educational training center ROZUM. I am confident that through joint efforts we will support the further creation of effective cybersecurity in the Republic of Belarus and the security of local businesses."
